Why Wiggles and Wags ?
We use field proven behavior modification methods (not shock devices) which were developed initially during the study of instinctual behaviors of three wolf packs on a sanctuary in Northern Georgia and then put into practice with over 20 years of successful dog training results. We will come to your home and directly address behavioral issues that you have with your puppy or adult dog. If socialization, basic commands or leash walking skills are needed, we offer Basic and Intermediate obedience classes that have limited enrollment. You will learn how to get the long lasting results that over 800 dogs and owners have received to date. You will build a strong foundation and confidence in working with your dog, regardless of breed, with the goals of having a 'stable pack' environment in your home and making you and your pup a fluid pair when you are outside the home.
Our Process
Owner and Instructor, Tammy Wilson-Teeter, is a trained behavioral specialist and professional active member of IACP who uses positive reinforcement and leadership skills to channel your dog’s pack and prey drive into constructive behaviors. Your dog wants to make you happy. We will use that as a basis to focus our training. Once we discuss your areas of concern, we will identify the reasons for specific behaviors, make corrections and then put you in the leadership role to reinforce the new behaviors. For In-Home Training customers, a complementary follow-up will then be scheduled shortly after the training to assure results of that training session. Obedience Classes are also available which are highly interactive and are limited to six dogs. They are held during four, 1.5 hour hands-on sessions with the instructor. Your role and commitment, of course, are essential to having either process be successful!

Even if your dog is an angel at home, Proper Leash Walking techniques could be the answer for a more rewarding outdoor experience. With extensive experience and success in many competitive dog sports, we are also qualified to take your canine handling skills to an even higher level with instruction in Flyball, Frisbee or Disc, and Agility!
